Sameer Mehta – Co-founder & Chief Product Officer (CPO)

Sameer Mehta is the Co-founder and Chief Product Officer (CPO) of boAt. In addition to his role at boAt, he serves as the Executive Director at Kores (India). His entrepreneurial journey began at Redwood Interactive, where he not only started his career but also owned the company.

Academically, Sameer completed his schooling at St. Xavier’s School, Mumbai, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. He is also the co-founder of Imagine Marketing Pvt. Ltd., the parent company behind boAt, which helped propel the brand into a leading position in India’s audio and lifestyle tech space.


Aman Gupta – Co-founder & Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Aman Gupta is the Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of boAt. He pursued his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Delhi University, followed by studies at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Furthering his education, Aman earned an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Indian School of Business (ISB) and completed an exchange program in General Management and Marketing at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Professionally, Aman began his career as an Assistant Manager at Citibank and later became the Co-founder and CEO of Advanced Telemedia Pvt. Ltd.. He also worked as a Senior Management Consultant at KPMG and served as Sales Director at HARMAN International, a role that deepened his expertise in consumer electronics.

In 2016, Aman Gupta co-founded boAt alongside Sameer Mehta, and together they launched Imagine Marketing India, now the parent company of boAt. Aman has also gained widespread recognition as a judge on Shark Tank India (Seasons 1, 2, and 3) and will be returning for Season 4. Notably, he made history as the first Indian entrepreneur to walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023.
